What could you do
with an airplane?
Three kinds of day, each already worked out: where the hours go, what fits on board, what it might cost, and what stays unresolved until someone checks. Change the assumptions and see the day move. No account, no questionnaire.
How the studio works, and what it is not.
Every example is a complete, editable plan: an assumptions form, a timeline you can change minute by minute, a schematic map with an itinerary table, a packing or passenger board, transparent estimates with their formulas, at least one comparison, a “What changes if…?” panel with a change ledger, a plain explanation written from the calculated values, a plan B, the list of things awaiting confirmation, and a source drawer.
- Deterministic. Distances are great-circle values; times come from an illustrative aircraft profile and the minutes you set; costs are ranges from placeholders you should replace. Nothing is retrieved live; no model writes a number.
- Fictional. Every airport, course, camp, lake and company here is made up, and says so in its name. A real trip needs current official airport information, the airports themselves, and a real briefing.
- Private first. Save a plan to My Hangar in this browser. Sharing starts with a preview: contacts, exact dates and private destinations stay out of the guest card unless you tick them.
- Not flight planning. No weather, NOTAMs, fuel prices, runway status, tee times or lodging are looked up. No suitability, “safe to fly” or weight-and-balance result is produced: when a fit cannot be established, the page says what is missing.
The aircraft in these scenarios
Three illustrative profiles (a light single, a light twin and, for one educational comparison only, a backcountry-capable single) with round numbers chosen so the arithmetic can be shown. They are not the Cherokee 180, the Baron 58P or any specific aircraft: this site publishes no sourced performance figures for either, and the homepage stories say the useful numbers come from each aircraft’s approved manual.
Sources and assumptions sit in a drawer on every example, with a “suggest a correction” link. Saved plans and shared cards carry the schema version, so they survive later upgrades.
